It’s literally no secret that I have feelings. I don’t need them reciprocated. That would be me wanting you to change. But what I do need is for you to respect them, be cognizant of them.
It’s bar-none the only thing I will ever actually ask of you. Respect.
I care too deeply to walk away. I want you to be well, happy and killing it. In a lot of ways you are. That puts a smile on my face.
